Life between above and below keeps South Tyrol in balance. You will be kicked on the mountain. You will drift in the water. Pleasure at the table keeps body and soul together. And fresh ideas straighten your head.
Feeling your body, resting in it, burdening your head with something or simply painting the sails – what brings you back into balance? From May to the end of June 2019 there are special balance offers in the holiday regions of the Eisack Valley. Guided hikes, guided tours and joint activities throughout the Eisack Valley take visitors one step closer to their equilibrium.
Get close to nature on a hike in our beautiful mountain world. You can also find a lot of further information in our detailed information folder or in the hiking books in our library.
Enjoy breathtaking sunrise hikes with a view that is not easily forgotten. It is a special moment when the sun rises between the mountains, you enjoy the peace and quiet and take a deep breath.
Or you can find your inner balance during a Qi-Gong lesson with Evelyn, the daughter of the house: with special breathing and relaxation exercises you can recharge your batteries.
A little tip from Evelyn: “Meet the day with attentiveness, our nature is the best anti-stress program”.
Experience in Ratschings
Finding vitality in the simplicity and silence of nature. On a leisurely hike along the Ontratt valley in the Jaufental valley we reach the Gurgl waterfall, where we breathe a sigh of relief, recharge our batteries and experience the peace and quiet of autumn. The trail continues until we reach a traditional mountain pasture. A traditional “Muas” cooking with our own cereals and stories awaits us here. On the way back we pay attention to a careful breathing in the nature at the power place “Holler Isse” and return to the starting point – the Maurerhof – where we experience a cosy finale in the Bauernstube with homemade bread and cream cheese in connection with a legend from South Tyrol.
Another beneficial balance initiative would be the summer solstice: on 21 June, after the Celtic annual cycle, the summer solstice is celebrated – this is the longest day and the shortest night. At the Jaufenpass we light a fire, experience these customs and listen to exciting stories and myths.
After such an exciting day you can relax in our great wellness oasis: a round in our indoor swimming pool, a sauna session, reading a book on our sunbathing lawn or rather enjoy the sunbeams in our outdoor whirlpool! There is something for everyone here.
We look forward to welcoming you to our family-run hotel in Ratschings.
